A-Wake! This was the battle-cry of Hereward the Wake, one of the great heroes of the English Folk.
Hereward fought against the oppression of the Normans who came to this land under the protection of the Pope and his Papal
banner. Like Robin Hood he fought for his Folk and was a Champion of the People - the "people" used in its true sense as part
of the whole, not as a ruling body from the base upwards - something that could never be right.
England A-wake! This today is our battle-cry in a land falling into rack and ruin. This will
not fall on every ear, but it will raise the consciousness of the few who will one day be ready to struggle for the survival
of the English Folk and for the freedom of our people.
