The English Movement was set up to protect and promote the English Identity and to help to preserve our English
Culture and English Tradition. But above all our highest aim is to preserve the English Folk as a part of the Germanic Race
and the White Race. The aim of promoting an English Identity is to get out to those prepared to listen, and to attract to
ourselves those who wish to act in some way to help the survival of our Folk.
As you can see from what I say here, the aim is here not self-preservation but self-sacrifice for
the Folk. Our aim is to devote our lives to the survival of our Folk - a full time work for some and part-time for others.
The more full-time workers we can get the better. What is said here is never meant to promote the idea of self-preservation,
though we may insist upon a drive for self-reliance. When the time comes we need to survive in order to ensure the survival
of our Folk. And we need to lead by our own example at all times.
This is where our Young Movement differs from others in that we are not merely promoting "culture", nor "tradition",
nor "identity" as just a means to promote another form of patriotism, for we see and recognise the Signs of the Times.
Catastrophic changes and social unrest are just around the corner, and we need to prepare for this now. There is far more
to our struggle than just a promotion of "Englishness", for unless we act now to prepare for what is to come there will be
no England - and no English to populate this land.
One of the sad signs of our times is that there is little rebelliousness in the people at all - not even in the
youth of this country now. Gripes and grievances are aired over the Internet whilst sitting behind a PC at home - not much
of a revolt against oppression! Whilst "armchair activists" quarrel over the most trivial things there will never be any freedom
in our land.
This is why our Movement is an active Movement in that through Woden's Folk we have kept to an agenda
of outdoor activities, camps, Folk-Moots and hikes that get us back into Nature. Although the English Movement section will
hold indoor meetings in the future, and workshops to get our word out to others, there will always be a more outdoor outlook
to both sides. Be prepared! - The scout motto that was designed to make young people prepared for anything, and something
we now need to look to ourselves. We must be Light-Bearers in a world of Darkness and Chaos - this is the true role of the
English Movement.
