following are the official Wheel of the Year Rites used by Woden’s Folk for the Woden Folk-Religion. They
can be adapted for use by a Lone-Wolf Activist or used for group work as they are. They are being continually developed
as we go along and may be subject to changes. They can be used by any Wodenist, but we ask that they
are not reprinted and sold for gain.

pass amongst the kinfolk when need demands it. Wali - Slayer of Darkness - let your arrows pierce the Mother Earth and awaken
her to a New Dawn; let your arrows pierce the hearts of our Folk and awaken them to a bright rebirth.

seek the destruction of our Folk. (Priestess) – The love of Frea for Gerda
broke the ice and cold that takes hold of the Earth, awakening the Earth to a New Dawn and a bright rebirth in the spring.
So doth Wali’s Arrows pierce the stone-cold Earth and melt away the ice and snow of the cold winter. Soon shall the
cold ice and snow melt away as Eostra brings in the spring.

INVOCATION (Priest) – We give thanks and praise
to Thunor, Thunder-God who brings fertility to the Earth and to our Women-Folk. Wielder of the Hammer of the Gods, the crops
have grown and the harvest taken, and for this we gives thanks. To Frea we give thanks, and to the Barley-Wolf that ensures
a new crop of barley from the seeds that fall to the ground. A corn-token
is given to the Priestess who holds it aloft and says –
(Priestess) - Hail to the Corn-Goddess whose Golden Corn waves in the winds through the summer months, and
is cut down to give food and plenty to the Folk. Hail to the Bountiful Earth! Friga - Queen of Ese-gard, wife of Woden, may

of the Wolf-Hide, Bow-God and Ski-God, who rides the snow-clad Northlands in the Wolf-Moon. Winter-Woden, Lord of the Dead,
Prince of Ese-gard and Walhalla’s War-Chief, whom we call by the name Yule-Father. The wheel has turned and the longest
night is upon us as the Wild Huntsman rides the walds of the Northlands. Thunor, God of Thunder, may your chariot ever ride
the Northern Skies and protect the Folk.
(Priestess) – On this, the Night of the Mothers, we witness the rebirth of the Sun, and the birth of
the Sun-Child named Halga, born of the Earth, born to lead our Folk to freedom. Halga, high-born Son of the Wolf, we honour
you as the Child of Light. Tonight we honour the Holy Mothers who send to us the Child of Light.
ALL - This, the Mothers’ Night, we bear witness to the Mystery
of the birth of the Divine Child - Son of the Sun - on the night of longest darkness. In the darkness is born the Child of
Light. Though we face the cold winter months, we bear the knowledge that the Light has triumphed over the Darkness and we
face a New Dawn and a bright rebirth in the spring. Ever shall the Wheel of Life turn and the Light triumph over the Darkness.

LIGHT REBORN - The Sunwheel is lit or a Token Flame lit to represent Fire & Light (this can be a
candle). From this flame candles are lit and passed around the Sacred Ring of the Folk.
(Priestess) - This Sacred Flame is the token of the eternal cycle of birth-life-death-rebirth, passing
as a chain through the world-ages. Let this Sacred Flame rise up in the Folk-Soul of our people, and lighten Middle-Earth.

These rites can be adapted for individual use; using each one at the right time of the year will link the individual
with his kinfolk in other areas, and to Nature and the Cosmic Cycles that make up Natural Law. These have been made as standard
as possible so as to be able to be learnt over a period of use.
THE SYMBEL – This is a Ritual
Drinking from the Mead-Horn where “toasts & boasts” are made. Toasts are made to the Gods and Ancestors, and
heroic deeds are remembered by those present within the Folk-Ring. This can still be done by the individual working alone.
After the Symbel a small quantity of the Mead is poured upon the Earth as a gift from Mankind to the Gods and to the Mother
of Earth.
These rites can be done at an ancient site, stone circle, burial mound, sacred grove, or
anywhere that has the "feel" of a magical area. They can also be adapted for use indoors.
