Wodenism is an active movement and the aim of anyone who wishes to get involved should be to become active, even if they wish to work alone in doing so. Great power can be raised by the Lone-Wolf Activist! Working within a group of dedicated and focused activists can raise a great deal of power through ritual work and group-magic work. But such a group needs focus, one-pointed concentration, and above all must be made up of people who are all focused on the same point of concentration. The Lone-Wolf Activist can become just as effective (if not more so, for the group, as it grows, can attract the one individual who seeks to promote himself and his own ideas before that of the intentions of the group), working alone and in secret, doing the work needed through his/her own effort and above all – will!

Many people start their spiritual development through either “New Age” or “Pagan” organizations which are the larger movements within society today – only because they promote a Lunar Spirituality which is nearer to the Judaeo-Christian religion than it is to the true Heathen Religion of our ancestors, and it is “acceptable” within the society we live in today. Nevertheless, these people may well recognize that there is a true religion that is firmly rooted in their own being and one that developed within the soul of the English Folk, and was not an amalgam (chaos) of different cultures and traditions, as is the “New Age Movement” and the “Wiccan Movement”.

There are also many English Nationalists who are today becoming aware that a Spiritual Revolution is needed, rather than a social change based upon economic materialism. The aim of this site is to build up an English Movement made up of groups and individuals all working towards the same purpose, and working with the same will and intention. This would create the basis of a new English Folk-Community made up of active workers whose sole aim is the survival of the English Folk, and the recreation of the English Nation. Such a decentralized concept would ensure that a movement is created that cannot be infiltrated, its aims distorted, or its organization being used to serve the purposes of a corrupt system which is totally alien to our own way of life.

Such an English Movement would naturally exclude the ego-centred individual who feels that it is not his role to fit in with the group, but to enhance his own ego by “doing his own thing”. This type we do not need, for they are always the type to create arguments, splits and break-up of groups. Where there is no “organization” there can be no ego-centred individuals who vie for position and self-aggrandizement. The role of the Lone-Wolf Activist is just as much a part of this struggle as that of the group.

Woden’s Folk exists to serve the purpose of bringing together like-minded English Folk, and to promote the Woden-Folk Religion, but there is also room for those who do not wish to actually belong to such a group, or do not wish to join together with others, but wish to work alone and on their own initiative.

Too much emphasis is given to “initiation” within modern “pagan” groups; some feel that an “initiation” has to be done by a Priest/Priestess of a group, and that without this the individual cannot become an “Initiate” nor take up the magico-mystical path. Initiation is important, and I was myself initiated into a Magical Order – a Secret Society – which was based upon the Northern Tradition. Indeed, I have needed to look back at this most important Magical Initiation to realize who I am, and my destiny upon Middle-Earth. At a much later date than the Magical Initiation I undertook, I came to realize that the events that took place fitted into the pattern of Wyrd which outlined my Woden Destiny. Many years later, I underwent another, and far more profound, Woden Initiation when the Hale-Bopp Comet appeared in the spring of 1997; this was a second Woden Initiation, but this time at the hands of the Great Initiator (Woden) himself, the outcome being in the hands of Wyrd. At this later stage I came to realize that life itself is the real initiation process, and the actual physical initiations are just part of the overall; process, and not the actual initiation by a “priest” or “priestess”, which is itself an outer form of the inner process, though both are needed to ensure a totality and a wholeness within the process.

The need to be part of a group is not always necessary; indeed, in some cases it can hold back the process due to becoming too dependent upon others. What we are getting at here is that to become a part of the English Movement you do not need to work within a group; you can, if you so wish, get active by yourself, as a Lone-Wolf Activist, and do the same thing as those working within a group. The fact that there is a need for a section of our Folk to create a change in consciousness means that a group of people working together is needed to do so. This is why Woden’s Folk exists, but we recognize that there are those who do not wish to actually join up with a movement, and here we can point out a way that the Lone Wolf can become part of the Wolf-Pack whilst still working on his/her own initiative, with the option of getting involved in a group as their education and training progresses.

We would like to point out that there is room for the male, the female, the youth, the children and the whole family in this active English Movement. What we are going to show in these web pages is that there is room for varied individuals with varied needs and ideals, and that within this diversity there will be a unity in the common struggle for the survival and the freedom of the English Folk.

The aim of these web-pages is to give you a standard from which to work from, for this ensures that a focused consciousness is ensured, and that power is raised through a common activity such as ritual work or magico-mystical work.If twenty people have a focused consciousness upon the same aim, and if the will is exactly the same, and the energy is that of a one-pointed concentration, then the result would be that the power would be twenty times that of the individual who does it alone. This can be done with a group working together at the same time, or twenty individuals who are separated, yet work together at the same time, and for the same purpose. There is thus room for the group (such as Woden’s Folk) and also the group of individuals (Lone-Wolf Activists) within the overall English Movement. There will be room for the individual to work alone, but also to work together using a time and date for certain important rituals.

This site will provide these important rituals, and also certain other activities, that can be utilized by anyone who wishes to get involved in Folkish Wodenism, and who wishes to become educated and trained in Wodenism. This will be a process of self-education and self-training with guidance from Woden Initiates who are part of Woden’s Folk.
